Enrichment is at the heart of high-quality teaching at Grimsdell and wholeheartedly embedded within all areas of our creative curriculum.

We are passionate about the planning and delivery of all teaching and learning opportunities and are committed to personalising aspects of our curriculum and its delivery to suit every child’s needs.

Enrichment is delivered through high quality teaching within the classroom as well as being integrated into all areas of the creative and co-curricular curriculum.

All Grimsdell pupils are given the opportunity to learn and make progress. Where the need for additional challenge is identified, the curriculum is adapted as appropriate and relevant. This fluid and inclusive approach endeavours to target children exceeding specific learning objective expectations receiving the appropriate extension. This ensures that all children learn, make progress and are challenged in a way that is appropriate for their level and pace at that time.

We aim to personalise aspects of the curriculum and its delivery to suit every child’s needs and to ensure that each child is treated as an individual.

We are equally proud of our commitment to enrich the whole child by supporting global projects, communities in need and playing our part in making the world a better place. Involvement in charitable and environmental projects provides key learning opportunities as well as personal growth and a sense of fulfilment for our children.
