Welcome to Grimsdell, Mill Hill Pre-Prep. Grimsdell is the starting point of your child's journey within the Mill Hill Education Group. We are a warm and friendly school where kindness is at the heart of our ethos. Our aim is to create imaginative and stimulating learning environments that bring out the very best in our pupils, not only preparing them for the next stages in their learning but also providing them with a twenty-first century skillset.

Having been awarded 'Pre-Prep School of the Year' in 2022, we pride ourselves on offering an exciting Creative Curriculum underpinned by academic rigour and high expectations for every child. Our child-centred and creative approach to teaching and learning ensures strong foundations and most importantly nurtures a lifelong love of learning. Our creative and connected curriculum inspires and challenges our children academically and builds core skills like resilience, empathy and collaboration. Children are encouraged to access as many opportunities as possible ensuring they get breadth and depth of learning as well as enjoy new activities. With a dedicated, nurturing staff that enable these opportunities and consistently go above and beyond what is expected, we ensure the highest quality experience for our pupils. A continued commitment to outdoor learning ensures we make the most of every opportunity to be outside. Forest School is also deeply embedded within our curriculum. All of this is set within the stunning 120 acres of Mill Hill School grounds, allowing the children to learn holistically and in a natural way.
