Our House Captains
Meet some of our House Captains from Year 2. At Grimsdell, we value leadership opportunities that allow pupils to develop confidence, responsibility and a strong sense of teamwork from an early age.
We asked our Year 2 House Captains to reflect on what they have done so far in their roles and how they support the wider school community.
Ella, House Captain for Oak, explained that part of her role involves counting the smiley rewards that pupils receive for being kind or helpful and following the school’s values.
Jacob, also a House Captain for Oak, spoke about his involvement in supporting the school bake sale, highlighting how helping with school events has allowed him to work as part of a team and contribute positively to the life of the school.
Lily-Rose, House Captain for Willow, shared how she promotes inclusion by ensuring that no pupil is left sitting on the friendship bench and that everyone feels happy.
We are extremely proud of the way our House Captains have reflected thoughtfully on their responsibilities and continue to demonstrate the Grimsdell values and leadership skills.
