Old Millhillian, Richard Grimsdell's, legacy creates new Pre-Prep
Old Millhillian Richard Grimsdell's family agree to the suggestion of his legacy gift being used to fund the creation of a new Pre-Prep School.

Winterstoke House is renovated, made into a Pre-Prep and renamed
Mill Hill Pre-Prep opens in former Winterstoke House, a former boarding House for Mill Hill School, and is named after Old Millhillian, Richard Grimsdell.

First ever Nursery class is created
The School opens its first Nursery class with 16 pupils.

The Mill Hill School Foundation is formed

Grimsdell's 'Super Eight'
The first 'all-through pupils' - who moved through Grimsdell, to Belmont and finally Mill Hill School - graduate at Mill Hill.
