Sports Day began under slightly cloudy skies, but it wasn’t long before the sun broke through, bringing blue skies, warm sunshine and plenty of cheers from spectators. Throughout the day, pupils took part in a fantastic rotation of activities, showcasing both their teamwork and determination. From the ever-popular Wobble Relay to the exciting Hockey Relay, there truly was something for everyone to enjoy, and pupils gave each event their all.

The atmosphere was full of energy as the Houses competed for valuable points, with encouragement and support on display at every turn. After a closely contested competition, Oak House emerged as the proud winners of the House Cup. Congratulations to Oak House and well done to all pupils for their enthusiasm, sportsmanship and effort throughout the day.

The celebrations continued into the afternoon with the introduction of the Grimsdell Family Festival, bringing together pupils, parents and staff for an afternoon of fun and community spirit. Highlights included the always-popular Soak the Head challenge, delicious ice cream, a bouncy castle and colourful face painting. It was a wonderful way to round off a memorable day, with families enjoying the opportunity to come together and celebrate another successful year at Grimsdell.
