Making Measuring Memories

Year 2 pupils from Grimsdell joined Year 3 at Belmont, Mill Hill Prep for a special ‘Making Measuring Memories’ outdoor carousel of Maths measurement activities in the Quad. The engaging session provided a wonderful opportunity for pupils to develop their measuring skills through a range of hands-on challenges, while working collaboratively and enjoying the outdoor setting.

As part of this transition event, Year 2 pupils spent time alongside their Year 3 peers, helping them become familiar with life at Belmont and build confidence ahead of the next stage of their educational journey. With some pupils already knowing one another, the activities encouraged new friendships to form and existing connections to grow.

A fantastic and memorable experience for all involved, offering an exciting glimpse of what lies ahead in Year 3.
