Anti-Bullying Week
Last week, pupils at Grimsdell embraced the spirit of kindness and individuality, taking part in Anti-Bullying Week with a range of engaging activities. Each class contributed in their own unique way to promote the message of respect and friendship.
Hawks Class began the week by watching an inspiring anti-bullying video entitled For the Birds, sparking thoughtful discussions about empathy and inclusion. Meanwhile, our Nursery children explored the joy of getting to know their friends through simple, meaningful questions such as “What is your favourite colour?”, a wonderful way to build connections from an early age.
The entire school came together for a special assembly, reinforcing the importance of standing up against bullying and celebrating diversity. Pupils also participated in Odd Socks Day, a fun and colourful tradition that reminds us all to embrace what makes us unique.
Ms Gale also transformed into a superhero for the day in honour of this year’s Anti-Bullying Week theme, Power for Good. Her vibrant costume and positive energy brought smiles to faces across the school, reminding everyone that we all have the power to make a difference.
